RF Systems Engineer

We are seeking an experienced RF Systems Engineer to join our team at GSI Service Group, Inc. in Aberdeen Proving Ground, Maryland.
About the Role:As an RF Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for supporting the development of advanced radar capabilities using state-of-the-art digital engineering tools. You will work closely with our team to design, develop, and integrate models for various types of radar systems, collaborating across programs to achieve end-to-end solutions.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide engineering support to radar S&T efforts
- Support the development of new radar signal and data processing techniques and Radar concepts
- Lead the development of modeling and simulation, Systems Integration Laboratories (SILs) and digital twins to support the development of new radar concepts and capabilities
- Lead the development of system architectures and the integration of software and hardware subsystems
- Lead and assist in conduct of meetings to negotiate solutions across subsystems and disciplines (software, hardware, modeling, and analysis)
- BS (STEM) w/ 5+ years of experience or MS (STEM) w/ 3+ years of experience
- Experience in radar/RF system design, development, engineering, test, evaluation, and data analysis
- Systems Engineering experience with radar/RF software (primary) and hardware (secondary) subsystems
- Clearly communicates complex ideas and produces/presents clear, well-organized presentations in relevant terms for audiences at all levels
- 10+ years of experience in radar and/or other RF system design, development, engineering, test, evaluation, and data analysis
- Experience developing systems architectures/frameworks
- Experience prototyping/implementing signal and data processing or conducting systems analysis with MATLAB, Python, C++
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
