About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Professional to join our team in a residential setting. As a Support Professional, you will play a vital role in assisting adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in achieving their personal goals and living independently.

Responsibilities

  • Provide support and structure to residents in daily activities

  • Assist with personal care needs and promote independence

  • Document progress and communicate effectively with colleagues and management

  • Transport program participants to medical appointments and recreational activities

Requirements:

  • Clean NYS Driver's license required

  • High School diploma or equivalent necessary

  • Previous experience working with intellectually and developmentally disabled individuals preferred; training provided

  • Must obtain and maintain AMAP and SCIP certifications within six months of hire
