Certification Requirements
  • Registered Radiologic Technologist (R) certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
  • BLS Certification as either BLS Provider or Healthcare Provider from recognized organizations.
  • RCIS Certification is mandatory.
  • ACLS Certification is required.
Position Overview
  • The Cardiac Catheterization Technologist is responsible for performing diagnostic invasive procedures within the Cardiac Cath Lab.
  • Assist Cardiologists during procedures as necessary.
  • Respond effectively to patient distress situations.
  • Contribute to equipment quality control and manage inventory.
Qualifications
  • Education: An associate degree in Radiologic Technology or completion of a Cardiovascular Technology program, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Experience: A minimum of two years in Special Procedures and/or Cath Lab experience, or two years of recent CV Tech experience if not a graduate of a Cardiovascular Technology program.
Additional Information

To be eligible for travel assignments, the permanent residence of the candidate must be located more than 50 miles from the facility.
