Pet Groomer

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Pet Groomer to join our team at Tractor Supply Company. As a Pet Groomer, you will be responsible for providing exceptional grooming services to dogs, ensuring their comfort and safety throughout the process.

• Deliver high-quality grooming services to dogs, including bathing, trimming, and styling.
• Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to company safety standards.
• Assist in generating business by scheduling appointments, following up with customers, and verifying vaccinations.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

• Minimum of 1-year experience in pet grooming or a related field.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to lift and move animals, equipment, and merchandise up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to stand and maintain a stationary position for up to 8 hours while grooming animals.

Working environment is favorable, generally working inside with moderate noise. Exposure to wet conditions, particularly when bathing dogs. Exposure to cats and dogs of all sizes, breeds, and temperaments. Exposure to sharp grooming instruments, perfumed shampoos and soaps, pets, and pet waste.

• Ability to move and transfer live animals, equipment, and merchandise weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to stand and maintain a stationary position for up to 8 hours while grooming animals.
• Ability to frequently move for 4-8 hours per day around the salon to groom animals, clean, and maintain the salon.
