This role is responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a clinic setting, adhering to CommonSpirit Health standards and values. The successful candidate will be engaged in direct patient care, including assessing, coordinating, and evaluating patient needs, as well as delegating tasks to the patient care team.
Key Responsibilities- Provide professional nursing services, focusing on quality patient care and adherence to regulatory requirements.
- Assess, coordinate, and evaluate patient needs, delegating tasks to the patient care team as necessary.
- Collaborate with physicians, patients, and families to implement appropriate nursing interventions for optimal patient care.
- Participate in continuing education and meetings, and contribute to committees as requested.
- Triages and responds to patient telephone calls using approved protocols, ensuring documentation meets standards.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Graduate of an accredited school of Registered Nursing approved by the WA State Board of Nursing required; BSN preferred.
- One year clinic RN experience or 2 years of acute care experience preferred.
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse by the Washington State Board of Nursing required.
- Current Healthcare Provider BLS Certification required.
- If assigned to the Float Pool, current drivers license and ability to drive to assigned location(s) required.
