Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with the review of procurement documents to determine completeness, regulatory and policy compliance, and the suitability of using simplified acquisition procedures versus contracting procedures.
  • Determine the extent of competition required, the appropriate procurement methodology, the most suitable contract line-item number structure, and the terms and conditions applicable to the procurement.
  • Prepare procurement documentation that complies with applicable statutory, regulatory, and policy requirements.
  • Perform basic post-award administration actions, including modifications, option exercises, price, quantity, or delivery changes, and cancellations.
  • Perform market research to determine procurement history and the availability of sources.
Requirements

Your resume must demonstrate at least three years of general experience, of which one year must be equivalent to the GS-04 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Experience must demonstrate the following:

  • Assisting with gathering technical data related to contracts, production, or purchasing/procurement activities.

Education

Education may be substituted for the experience above. The substitution of education is as follows: 4-year course of study leading to a Bachelor's Degree.
