About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at Amotec in Akron, Ohio. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our production equipment and facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Repair and maintain all production and facility equipment to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Perform project work to improve equipment reliability and reduce downtime.
  • Assist in implementing a Preventative Maintenance program to minimize equipment failures and extend equipment lifespan.
  • Demonstrate a high regard for safety and adhere to all safety protocols and procedures.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma plus 3 years related experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Mechanical aptitude and excellent troubleshooting skills in electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems for production machinery and support equipment.
  • Ability to read and understand electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic prints.
  • Operating material handling equipment and possession of sufficient tools.
  • Must be a team player and flexible with a strong commitment to quality and customer satisfaction.
