Job Summary

We are seeking an Advanced Practice Provider to join our Trauma and Acute Care team at the Medical College of Wisconsin. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical competence in trauma care and critical decision making, with the ability to access, diagnose, and treat patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide primary or specialty medical care within defined scope of practice under the supervision of a licensed physician.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary health care teams in diagnosis and treatment of conditions requiring surgical intervention.
  • Write accurate and timely progress notes, procedure notes, and/or admission and transfer orders.
  • Order, perform, and interpret screening and diagnostic procedures and tests.
  • Facilitate and communicate with patient, family, and staff to promote continuity of care.
Requirements
  • Master's Degree or higher in Nursing or Physician Assistant Studies.
  • Wisconsin RN License or Physician Assistant License.
  • Wisconsin Advanced Practice Nurse Prescriber License.
  • AHA ACLS, AHA BLS, DEA, and ATLS certification.
