The estimated base rate for this role is $22.00/Hour, reflecting the importance of your skills and experience. Job Responsibilities:
  • Trim and customize portions of meat products using knives, band saws or other meat production equipment.
  • Count and stack on tray portions per customer and company specifications.
  • Label portion with supplied number product labels.
  • Set up cutting room as required.
  • Maintain cutting room and surrounding area clean and sanitized.

To be successful in this role, you must have the ability to work in a fast-paced production environment and meet deadlines. You should also possess excellent communication skills and be able to work well with others.

In terms of education and training, a high school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred. However, relevant experience as a meat cutter, particularly with specialty cutting equipment, is essential. Additionally, knowledge of poultry, beef, lamb, and pork products, including USDA grades and standards, is required.
