Restaurant Manager Job Description

About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Restaurant Manager to join our team at Tumbleweed Tex Mex Grill & Margarita Bar in Zanesville, OH. As a Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for leading our front-of-house team to deliver exceptional customer service and ensure a seamless dining experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing team of front-of-house employees
  • Manage opening and closing procedures, including inventory management and cash handling
  • Oversee payroll, benefits, and employee relations
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
  • Monitor and maintain high standards of food quality, service, sanitation, and safety
  • Manage inventory, ordering, and stock control
  • Develop and implement sales and labor plans to meet business objectives
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management

Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in hospitality or related field preferred
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in restaurant management or a related field
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively
  • High degree of comfort working with a POS system and other technology
  • Ability to type, look at computer screens, and use a computer mouse for extended periods
