  • Clean and disinfect patient rooms, bathrooms, furniture, and other areas of the facility in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Deliver linens and remove trash from assigned areas, maintaining a high level of organization and attention to detail.
  • Sweep and mop patient rooms, ensuring a clean and safe environment for all.
  • Maintain adequate stock of materials, supplies, and chemicals on cleaning carts and in janitor's closets.
  • Perform daily floor care procedures consistently, adhering to hospital policies and procedures.
  • Keep equipment clean and polished, and ensure that carts, tanks, and buckets are emptied and rinsed at the end of each shift.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (GED) strongly preferred.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills required.
  • Ability to lift, bend, and stand for long periods of time.
  • Flexibility to work various days, including alternating weekends and holidays.
  • Strong sense of accountability for improving the lives of patients and their caregivers, with a focus on teamwork, dedication to ongoing education, and delivering high-quality care.
