We are seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team in a school district in Washington. This is a remote contractor position that offers a competitive salary and various benefits.
About the RoleThis Virtual Speech-Language Pathologist will be responsible for developing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with special needs in a virtual learning environment. The ideal candidate will adapt online teaching strategies, tools, and resources to engage students with disabilities and enhance their academic success.
- The selected candidate will collaborate with parents, virtual team members, and support staff to foster an inclusive and supportive virtual classroom experience for special education students.
- The Speech-Language Pathologist will track and evaluate student progress through online assessments, making data-driven adjustments to ensure continuous growth in a virtual learning space.
To be eligible for this role, candidates must have a minimum of 1+ years of special education experience. A strong background in speech-language pathology and experience working with students with special needs is essential.
Benefits and CompensationThis position offers highly competitive compensation, ranging from $45-$55 per hour. Additionally, the candidate will enjoy the flexibility of working remotely and receiving weekly pay as a 1099 classification.
Interview ProcessThe selection process includes a 10-15 minute screening call with a VocoVision Recruiter, followed by a 20-30 minute Virtual Interview with the School District. Once selected, the candidate will receive an offer typically within 24-48 hours of the virtual interview.
