Position Summary:
Reporting to the Head of Programming, the Senior Statistical Programmer will deliver programming and analytical support for clinical trials.
As a member of the Programming team, the Senior Statistical Programmer will collaborate closely with colleagues from Biostatistics, Clinical Operations, Data Management, and Project Management, as well as external partners.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop CDISC compliant SDTM and ADaM datasets utilizing SAS for ad hoc analyses
- Create SAS macros and other utility programs
- Conduct statistical analyses, producing analytic reports, tables, figures, and presentations in support of clinical studies and additional reports
- Engage in professional development to enhance knowledge, skills, communication, scientific methodology, operational efficiency, and adherence to policies, regulations, and corporate standards
- Requires a Bachelor's degree or higher
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in the pharmaceutical/biotech industry (preferred) or a related field
- Strong programming background and advanced SAS programming skills are essential. Experience in pharmaceuticals is preferred, while a robust SAS programming background from related sectors will also be considered.
- Familiarity with other statistical software (R, S-Plus, WinBugs, etc.) is advantageous
- Programming skills or experience with VBA, C++, Python, etc. are beneficial
- Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written) are required
