Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated Contract Physical Therapist to join our team at Soliant Health. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in evaluating students' individual needs and determining the relationship between their development and current academic and physical performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate students' individual needs and assess their current academic and physical performance.
  • Collaborate with special education teachers and education staff to develop Individualized Education Plans (IEPs).
  • Design and implement direct or consultative therapy services for students within local school district programs.
  • Supervise Licensed Physical Therapy Assistant (LPTA) as assigned.
  • Provide support to LEEP classrooms across the county (TBD).
  • Manage a caseload (TBD) focusing on the motor needs of students.
  • Ensure in-person service delivery; virtual services are not viable for this position.
  • Collaborate with a comprehensive multi-disciplinary team including Occupational Therapists (OTs), Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs), nurses, and teachers.
  • Work closely with PTs and PTAs within the program.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
  • Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist in Oregon.
  • Experience working with pediatric populations preferred.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Flexibility to work in various settings and with diverse student populations.
