Position Overview

We are looking for a Veterinary Associate to join our reputable animal care facility. Our clinic is dedicated to providing exceptional healthcare for dogs and cats. We pride ourselves on being an AAHA-accredited practice with a supportive management team. Key Responsibilities:
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with clients and their pets through effective communication and meticulous medical record management.
  • Conduct examinations and provide treatment for dogs and cats, both by appointment and in emergency situations.
  • Assess and prioritize urgent medical conditions and serious injuries, alongside routine wellness visits, to ensure timely care for all animals.
  • Educate pet owners on the significance of preventive care, including vaccinations, heartworm and flea/tick prevention, chronic disease management, and adherence to treatment plans.
  • Perform routine surgical procedures and dental care.
Qualifications:
  • A genuine passion for enhancing the lives of pets and their owners.
  • A commitment to continuous learning and excellence in veterinary care.
  • A valid veterinarian license in good standing with the relevant state authorities.
  • Physical capability to lift and carry animals and equipment up to 50 lbs, and to work in various positions for extended periods.
