Position Overview:

As a vital member of our hospitality team, the F&B Cocktail Server is responsible for delivering exceptional food and beverage service to all guests in a professional and timely manner, while adhering to all relevant state and Casino alcohol regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide outstanding guest service to enhance the overall experience.
  • Maintain a clean and well-stocked work area at all times.
  • Engage with patrons promptly and courteously.
  • Serve food and beverages efficiently to guests.
  • Adapt to flexible working hours, including weekends and holidays.
  • Thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Uphold the values and standards of Silver Reef Casino Resort while on duty.
  • Comply with Casino and state regulations regarding alcohol service and health codes.
  • Address customer feedback and concerns effectively, escalating issues to a Supervisor when necessary.
  • Handle monetary transactions in accordance with Casino policies.
  • Complete side work at the end of each shift as required.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned by Supervisors or Management.

Physical and Mental Demands:
  • Ability to frequently lift and carry trays weighing up to 25 lbs.
  • Engage in activities such as bending, stooping, and tasting.
  • Occasionally lift and carry items weighing up to 50 lbs.
  • Familiarity with POS systems is essential.

Work Environment:
  • Fast-paced and dynamic atmosphere.
  • Exposure to a smoking environment.
  • Temperature-controlled setting.
  • Encounter various food aromas throughout the shift.

Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in guest service is preferred.
  • Must be at least 21 years old.
  • Knowledge of liquor and beverage service is advantageous.
  • Must obtain a Food Handlers permit within 30 days of employment.
  • Successful completion of a 90-day probationary/training period is required for continued employment.

Licensing Requirements:
  • Possession of a Class II Gaming License, Food Handlers Permit, and MAST card is necessary.
