EKG Technician

Adventist Health is seeking a skilled EKG Technician to join our team in Montebello, California.

We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to perform electrocardiogram (ECG) tests and procedures using specialized equipment. The successful candidate will work under the supervision of a physician to detect heart disorders and provide accurate results.

• Perform ECG tests and procedures using electrocardiogram equipment and medical techniques.
• Schedule patients and procedures efficiently.
• Monitor patient status and note any abnormalities during testing.
• Report findings to the patient's doctor for further analysis.
• Calibrate and check equipment on a weekly basis and order necessary supplies.
• Process patient records in adherence with established procedures.

• High School Education/GED or equivalent: Preferred
• Associate's/Technical Degree or equivalent combination of education/related experience: Preferred
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association: Required
• Certification as EKG Tech: Preferred
