We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Dietitian to join our Nutrition Team in a dynamic acute care medical center.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive medical nutrition therapy, including nutrition assessment, diet modification, nutrition education, and intervention for patients.
- Adhere to all guidelines outlined in the Company Diet Manual and Clinical Nutrition Policies & Procedures Manual.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, including federal, state, and accrediting agencies, while maintaining confidentiality, adhering to HIPAA regulations, and respecting patient rights.
- Train and mentor patient services staff and interns as needed.
- Participate in patient satisfaction programs, departmental meetings, and facility-wide Quality Assurance/Performance Improvement initiatives.
Requirements:
- Credentialed as a Registered Dietitian by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR).
- Licensed by the State Dietetics Licensing/Credentialing Board, in states where required.
- One (1) year of hospital experience, preferred.
- Proficient in utilizing Microsoft office applications, electronic medical record & diet office systems, and nutrient analysis programming.
