Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Press Assistant - 3rd Shift to join our team at Ampac Holdings, LLC. As a key member of our production team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our press machines and contributing to the success of our company.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with machine setup, preparation, and maintenance to ensure efficient production levels.
  • Supply raw materials and components as needed, maintaining a steady flow to meet production demands.
  • Monitor press machine operations, identifying and reporting any issues or malfunctions to the primary operator or supervisor.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as cleaning, lubricating, or replacing parts, to ensure proper machine operation and maintain quality and safety standards.
  • Troubleshoot minor technical issues and perform minor repairs or adjustments under the guidance of the primary operator or maintenance personnel.
  • Fill-in or temporarily run the machine during shift changes or as necessary, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment by performing standard tasks such as removing debris or waste materials.
  • Adhere to all safety guidelines and procedures, reporting any safety hazards or concerns to the appropriate team member.
  • Complete production logs or reports as required for documentation purposes.
Requirements
  • Skilled Labor
  • No experience required; experience in a related field is preferred.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment, communicating with colleagues and supervisors as needed.
  • Exceptional time management and organization skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
  • Proactive and self-motivated, with a strong commitment to quality and safety.
