Job Title: Registered Dietitian

Boulder City Hospital is seeking a highly skilled Registered Dietitian to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and promoting healthy lifestyles.

Job Summary:

The Registered Dietitian will be responsible for creating personalized nutrition plans to improve the health and well-being of our patients. This role will involve working closely with patients, medical professionals, and other healthcare teams to ensure that our patients receive the best possible care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive nutrition assessments to identify patients' dietary needs and develop personalized nutrition plans.
  • Work with patients to set and achieve nutritional goals, providing education and support to promote healthy eating habits.
  • Collaborate with medical professionals to ensure that patients receive the best possible care, including developing and implementing nutrition care plans.
  • Monitor patients' progress and adjust nutrition plans as needed to ensure optimal health outcomes.
  • Provide education and training to patients, families, and healthcare staff on nutrition-related topics.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.
Requirements:
  • Current registration with the Commission of Dietetic Registration (CDR) of the American Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics (A.N.D.).
  • Current licensure by the Nevada State Board of Health Division.
  • Must possess a current Health Card.
