About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Relief Pharmacist to join our team at Meijer. As a Relief Pharmacist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our pharmacy department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Filling prescriptions accurately and safely
  • Maintaining positive relationships with patients, team members, and leadership
  • Leading pharmacy technicians to achieve results and grow the pharmacy business
  • Educating and mentoring pharmacy technicians to be effective team members
  • Motivating team members to perform at their highest level
  • Staying up-to-date on Meijer policies and procedures, as well as state and federal laws
  • Effective communication and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize workload
  • Providing exceptional customer service and resolving patient needs
  • Assuming responsibility for pharmacy operations in the absence of the pharmacist in charge
  • Performing and overseeing clinical services, including immunizations
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Science Degree or Doctorate of Pharmacy
  • Registered and licensed in the state of practice
  • Certified Immunization Pharmacist (except Indiana)
  • Working knowledge of pharmacy systems and policies
