**Responsibilities**

As an Electrical Apprentice, you will be responsible for:

* Working safely and following all safety guidelines per OSHA regulations and Interstates' standards
* Measuring, cutting, and bending conduit using a tape measure and appropriate power/hand tools
* Operating power tools such as drills, saws, pullers, tuggers, etc.
* Installing conductors in race way and cable tray using manual and power equipment
* Assisting in lifting, positioning, and fastening objects, such as wiring, conduit, and motors
* Performing minor repairs, such as replacing fuses, light sockets, bulbs, and switches
* Disassembling defective electrical equipment, such as motors, using appropriate power/hand tools
* Loading, transporting, unloading, and furnishing Journeyman and Foreman Electricians with materials, equipment, tools, and supplies
* Using ladders, scaffolding, scissor and boom lifts
* Performing housekeeping duties, as required

**Qualifications**

* Candidates with a degree/certificate in electrical or a similar experience required
* Location and Travel:

This position will require travel throughout the Cincinnati, Ohio area (typically within 200 miles of the office). Duration on job sites may vary. Applicants must have reliable transportation and a valid driver's license. Per Diem applicable per company policy.
