Custodial Assistant

Cutlers Janitorial LLC is seeking a skilled Custodial Assistant to perform a variety of custodial duties at various locations. Key responsibilities include:

Dusting and damp mopping using germicidal techniques

Sweeping and maintaining facility entranceways, rooms, common areas, and restrooms free from debris and trash

Removing trash and disposing of waste materials

Vacuuming and spot cleaning carpets

Operating industrial cleaning machines

Restocking and cleaning restrooms using germicide solution

Wipe down and disinfecting areas

Maintaining custodial supplies in assigned storage areas

Ensuring health and safety rules are adhered to at all times

Requirements

Ability to work at various locations within Hampton Roads when needed

Ability to read and write at a level appropriate for the duties of the position

Ability to follow verbal and written instructions to ensure safety

Ability to operate and care for custodial equipment and supplies applicable to the position

Ability to use custodial systems such as those used to track work orders and two-way radios for communication

Ability to perform work involving regular physical activity, observe safety requirements, and adhere to safe work practices and methods

Ability to establish and maintain cooperative work relationships

Preferred Qualifications

Basic knowledge of cleaning procedures, equipment, and supplies

Proof of full vaccination against COVID-19 may be required prior to start date
