Cargo Handling Specialist

**About the Role:**
Cargo Handling Specialists at Air General Incorporated are responsible for the safe and efficient transfer of cargo to and from our airline clients and their customers. This position involves office duties as well as warehouse responsibilities, with a focus on customer service and adherence to safety and security procedures.
**Responsibilities:**
- Loading and unloading air cargo from/to vehicles/trucks
- Maintaining and operating a forklift, tug, and pallet jack safely and efficiently
- Adhering to FAA, Airport, and Air General safety and security procedures
- Presenting cargo documents to U.S. Customs, Immigration, USDA, and other relevant agencies for necessary releases and clearances
**Requirements:**
- Passing all pre-employment screenings, background checks, and airport/government security background checks
- Possessing a valid Driver's License
- Being able to obtain a valid airport I.D. badge
- Pushing, pulling, or lifting up to 70lbs
- Having basic computer skills
**Estimated Salary:** $45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience
