About the Position

Innova Solutions is looking for a highly skilled Thermal Hydraulic Simulation Expert to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for developing and implementing software solutions for nuclear reactor core thermal-hydraulic analysis.

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will have the following responsibilities:

  • Developing and maintaining software tools for nuclear reactor core thermal-hydraulic analysis
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements
  • Designing and implementing software solutions to meet project needs
  • Maintaining high-quality code and adhering to industry standards

You will have the opportunity to work with a variety of technologies, including Python, C++, and Git version control systems.

Requirements

To be considered for this position, you must have:

  • B.S., M.S., or Ph.D. in Mechanical, Nuclear, Computer Science, or other relevant technical Engineering area from an accredited university
  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience in the nuclear or relevant industry with a B.S. degree, or 3+ years with an M.S or Ph.D. degree with demonstrated ability to perform the software development and nuclear reactor core thermal-hydraulic analysis
  • Proficiency in Python programming and experience using Git (or similar) version control systems

Preference will be given to candidates who are also proficient with C++ and have experience with nuclear reactor subchannel or systems codes (e.g. RELAP5-3D, TRACE, COBRA, SLTHEN, SABRE4, etc.).
