Job Description

The Payroll Specialist is responsible for maintaining accurate and complete financial records by performing a variety of calculating, posting, and verifying duties. This role ensures the accuracy of figures, calculations, and postings related to business transactions recorded by other workers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure Paylocity Time & Labor is accurate and completed by the payroll cutoff date
  • Maintain accurate records of employee hours, wages, and deductions
  • Comply with federal and state payroll regulations
  • Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll and benefits
  • Prepare and distribute payroll reports as needed
  • Collaborate with HR and accounting departments to ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in payroll regulations and best practices
Requirements:
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in payroll processing
  • Strong knowledge of federal and state payroll regulations
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient in G Suite, Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word
  • Experience with Paylocity is a plus

$Yearly Salary: $60,000 - $80,000
