- POSITION OVERVIEW
- The Physical Therapist is responsible for assessing and treating patients through physical interventions and therapeutic exercises. This role aims to prevent, correct, or alleviate disabilities using various rehabilitative techniques and assistive devices. Responsibilities include the design, modification, and instruction in the use of assistive equipment such as braces, splints, mobility aids, wheelchairs, prosthetics, and orthotics. The therapist will develop and adjust treatment plans and provide consultative services.
- QUALIFICATIONS
- Education:
- A Doctorate in Physical Therapy is preferred. A valid Physical Therapist License in Wyoming is mandatory. Current BLS certification is required.
- Knowledge and Skills:
- Comprehensive understanding of physical therapy principles and practices. Familiarity with physical therapy tools, modalities, procedures, and healthcare regulations specific to Wyoming.
