About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Mobile Building Engineer to join our team at Lincoln Property Company. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for maintaining and ensuring the optimal performance of our properties.

This is a full-time position that requires strong mechanical aptitude, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently with routine supervision. If you have experience in HVAC, electrical, or plumbing systems, we encourage you to apply.

Responsibilities
  • Maintenance and Repair: Perform routine maintenance tasks on HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire control, and building management systems; conduct monthly inspections as assigned and complete them on time.
  • Troubleshooting and Repair: Troubleshoot and repair facility systems, including HVAC, plumbing, carpentry, minor electrical, and preventive and corrective maintenance tasks.
  • Safety and Compliance: Comply with all EPA, OSHA & ASHRAE rules, requirements, procedures, and industry and company safety guidelines.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively and clearly with facility managers, tenants, vendors, employees, and visitors.
  • Recommendations and Guidance: Provide recommendations and guidance on equipment upgrades and facility improvements.
Requirements
  • Education and Training: Training and certification in HVAC or Operating Engineer technologies and/or job-related training and experience.
  • Experience: 2 years of field experience or equivalent technical training.
  • Certifications and Skills: CFC training and certification or ability to obtain certification for the type of refrigerant serviced, preferred; continuing education in the field; strong mechanical aptitude; basic computer skills necessary to operate Building Automation Systems.
  • Physical Abilities: Ability to lift at least 50 lbs., work from heights, verify colors, and climb 28 ft. ladders routinely.
Compensation

The estimated salary for this position is $70,000 - $90,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
