About the Role

SKLD Muskegon is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team. As a Nurse Care Manager, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional care and customer service to our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess resident conditions to implement interventions and develop care plans
  • Accurately document observations for residents in Point Click Care (PCC) to ensure care plans are being followed
  • Assure facility medical records, policies, and procedures are adhered to
  • Regularly round on residents, observing and evaluating symptoms, progress, and reactions to treatments
  • Implement interventions and medications as necessary
  • Provide preventative, supportive, maintenance, and rehabilitative care directed to the physiological and psychosocial needs of residents
  • Provide a variety of treatments, including dressing changes, cleansing and/or irrigating wounds, performing foley catheter irrigations, IV therapy, and administering tube feedings
Requirements
  • Current state license as a Registered Nurse
  • CPR certification required
  • One year of professional nursing experience in the long-term care setting is desired (not required)
  • Knowledge of applicable state nursing regulations preferred
