As a Pharmacy Technician, you will assist pharmacists in the practice of pharmacy, including the performance of other pharmacy department duties in accordance with company policies and procedures. You will use pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information and process prescriptions, and you will assist with and coach pharmacy technicians in the operation of pharmacy systems and cashiers in the operation of the pharmacy cash registers.
You will also be responsible for modeling and delivering a distinctive and delightful customer experience, engaging customers and patients by greeting them and offering assistance with products and services. You will resolve customer issues and answer questions to ensure a positive customer experience.
Additionally, you will assist with exterior and interior maintenance by ensuring the pharmacy department is stocked with adequate supplies, clean, neat, and orderly in condition and appearance. You will comply with all company policies and procedures and maintain respectful relationships with coworkers.
We are looking for individuals who are fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English, and who have a strong desire to provide exceptional patient care and service. We prefer candidates with six months of experience in a retail environment, prior work experience with Walgreens, good math skills, and good computer skills. PTCB certification is also preferred.
