Job OverviewAs a Medical Scribe with Scribe-X, you will play a critical role in the patient care team, working closely with healthcare providers to document patient encounters in real-time. Our comprehensive training program will equip you with the skills and knowledge needed to excel in this role.

Key Responsibilities
  • Accompany healthcare providers on patient visits to document medical history, physical exams, and treatment plans
  • Enter laboratory and radiographic studies, medication orders, and other relevant information into the electronic medical record
  • Review and update charts with providers to ensure accuracy and completeness
  • Develop strong communication skills to effectively interact with providers, patients, and other healthcare team members

Requirements
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong computer skills with the ability to learn and navigate new software quickly
  • Healthcare track (e.g. pre-med, pre-PA, pre-nursing) preferred
  • Bachelor's degree strongly preferred with a GPA of 3.00 or greater
  • High School diploma or equivalent required
  • Typing speed of at least 60 WPM required for most assignments
  • Spanish-speakers eligible for higher pay

Compensation$11/hour – No scribe experience
$12/hour – 6+ months scribe experience
$14-17/hour – Lead scribe (1+ year scribe experience required)
+ $1/hour for fluent Spanish-speaking candidates
