Industrial Maintenance Specialist

Employment Type: Direct Hire with Benefits
Shift Details:
3rd Shift
12 Hour: 7pm-7am
Overtime: Mandatory
The 12-hour 3rd Shift alternates between two weeks: Week 1 includes Mon/Tues/Sat/Sun, while Week 2 covers Wed/Thurs/Fri. Enjoy every other weekend off, with shift hours from 7pm to 7am.
Additional Compensation: $1,000 Signing Bonus and $500 Referral opportunities available.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and rectify machinery issues while conducting preventive maintenance.
- Identify and resolve electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical faults.
- Execute assigned projects, including machine relocations, modifications, installations, and workspace enhancements.
- Support the training of fellow maintenance staff and production team members.
- Ensure that all tasks contribute to maintaining or enhancing product quality.
- Perform preventative maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal functionality.
- Complete work orders efficiently and within set timelines.
Preferred Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
- Advanced education (associate degree) in a relevant field or equivalent work experience is preferred.
- Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with electrical systems ranging from 24V DC to 480V AC.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics.
Additional Information:
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment and complete projects in a timely manner with high-quality workmanship.
- Experience with on-the-job or classroom training in hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical systems, electronics, welding, and mechanical maintenance.
- Experience operating Hilift/Forklift and ability to obtain necessary licenses.
- Training in Quality Management Systems and Environmental Systems.
- Physical capability to work in a manufacturing setting, including standing, bending, stooping, lifting, pulling, and pushing.
