Position Summary

As a Radiologic Technologist, you will operate CT equipment under general supervision, ensuring patient safety and comfort while producing high-quality diagnostic images. Your responsibilities will include:
  • Positioning patients correctly for scans and explaining procedures clearly.
  • Adjusting technical settings based on individual patient needs.
  • Evaluating completed scans for quality and accuracy.
  • Maintaining patient records and ensuring proper identification of images.
  • Staying updated on advancements in CT technology and techniques.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you must possess:
  • ARRT (R) certification and Texas Medical Board certification as a Medical Radiologic Technologist.
  • Current CPR certification and ARRT (CT) credential (to be obtained within one year).
  • An Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology.

Skills and Abilities

Ideal candidates will demonstrate:
  • In-depth knowledge of anatomy, positioning, and radiographic techniques.
