Key Responsibilities
- Conduct and oversee comprehensive assessments of residents upon admission.
- Formulate individualized care plans utilizing the nursing process, ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team for ongoing evaluation and modification of care plans as necessary.
- Deliver resident care while prioritizing activities based on resident needs and acuity.
- Continuously assess and adjust resident care based on evolving needs and staff availability.
- Administer treatments and procedures as prescribed by physicians, adhering to nursing policies and state regulations.
- Maintain accurate documentation of nursing care in accordance with established guidelines and regulatory requirements.
- Supervise nursing staff to ensure high-quality care delivery, participate in performance evaluations, and address disciplinary actions when required.
Qualifications
- Must hold a valid license in good standing with the Board of Nursing.
- Experience in long-term care or geriatric nursing is preferred.
- Current CPR certification is required.
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program.
- Possess a current state RN license.
- Continuing Education Units (CEUs) as mandated by state regulations.
