Key Responsibilities- Deliver high-quality tutoring services to students in spelling, utilizing a scripted intervention program to support student learning.
- Develop and maintain a positive and supportive learning environment that fosters student engagement and motivation.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure consistency and quality in tutoring services.
- Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current on best practices in tutoring and academic support.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in education or a related field.
- Experience working with students in a tutoring or academic support setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, colleagues, and supervisors.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Master's degree or equivalent experience in education or a related field.
- Experience teaching or tutoring students in spelling or a related subject area.
- Knowledge of scripted intervention programs and their implementation in educational settings.
- Work environment will be in local Austin elementary schools.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing circumstances and priorities.
