Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Domestic Violence Resident Assistant to join our team at Community Action Partnership of Lancaster County inc. This is a part-time, non-exempt position that requires a strong commitment to providing person-centered and trauma-informed support to survivors of domestic violence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Answer hotline calls and texts, providing support and referrals to callers and survivors.
  • Manage Lethality Assessment Program calls and complete hotline forms, enrollments, and program exits.
  • Communicate essential information to team members and accurately record client data and services.
  • Assist residents with basic needs and provide emotional support.
  • Participate in on-call coverage and maintain a safe and clean living environment.
  • Perform other job-related duties as requested by supervisor.
Requirements
  • Associate's degree in social sciences or equivalent experience.
  • Bilingual skills in English and Spanish are strongly preferred.
  • Ability to remain calm in busy and stressful situations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs and web-based applications.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
