Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced MRI Technologist to work in our state-of-the-art imaging department. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing MRI exams and procedures, operating imaging equipment, and providing excellent patient care.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform MRI exams and procedures
  • Operate imaging equipment
  • Position and immobilize patients as necessary
  • Obtain clinical data and patient history for correlation with the exam
  • Practice radiation protection for both the patient and themselves
  • Select technical factors and imaging mode
  • Evaluate images for quality
  • Perform post-processing of images
  • Assume care for physical and psychological needs of patients during treatments and examinations
  • Practice aseptic technique as necessary
  • Maintain IV skills
  • Assist physicians, nursing units, and physician's offices in ordering exams and procedures
Requirements:
  • ARRT-MR (Magnetic Resonance Imaging) certification
  • State License-Radiology Technologist-Missouri
  • CPR/BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
  • 1 year of experience in MRI
