The Cardiovascular Technologist plays a crucial role in the Cardiac Catheterization Lab, assisting cardiologists and radiologists in the performance of invasive procedures. This position requires a high level of technical skill and attention to detail, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in the performance of invasive procedures, including cardiac catheterizations and angioplasties
- Monitor and maintain equipment, ensuring proper function and safety
- Participate in patient care, providing a safe and comfortable environment
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless patient care
- Stay up-to-date on new procedures, equipment, and exam protocols
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification
- Basic Cardiac Life Support certification
- Registered Radiographer (ARRT) certification
- Vocational School Graduate
