Water Damage Restoration Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Water Damage Restoration Labor Specialist to join our team at Carolina Restoration Services of North Carolina Inc. As a key member of our restoration team, you will be responsible for performing emergency mitigation services and monitoring properties affected by water, fire, smoke, mold, sewer, or storm damage.
Key Responsibilities- Perform mitigation services such as water extraction, removal of damaged building materials, and setup of drying equipment.
- Relocate affected contents and maintain a clean and safe job site.
- Apply antimicrobial products and monitor drying equipment.
- Work in a variety of environments, including indoors and outdoors, and in non-climate-controlled spaces.
- High school or technical education.
- Valid Driver's License.
- 2-3 years of experience in water/fire emergency restoration work or similar construction-related labor-intensive work.
- Great attention to detail and excellent customer service skills.
- Ability to work after hours/on-call on a rotational basis and occasional overnight travel.
- Must provide own hand tools.
Work is performed at various job sites and in a warehouse, both indoors and outdoors. Activities occur inside and outside and are subject to:
- Weather and hot/cold temperature changes.
- Dirt, dust, soot, and possibly mold.
- Work environments that are not climate controlled.
- Noise.
- Ladders to use for high heights.
- Hazards such as moving vehicles, proximity to moving mechanical parts, electrical current, high places, high heat, and exposure to chemicals.
- Atmospheric conditions such as fumes, odors, dust, mists, gases, or poor ventilation.
- Close quarters: crawl spaces, small enclosed rooms, attics, etc.
$20-$25 hourly wage.
