About the Role

The Senior Care Nurse will be responsible for supervising the delivery of care and services to residents, ensuring that they receive the highest quality of care and service. This role requires strong leadership and communication skills, as well as the ability to make good decisions and prioritize tasks effectively.

Responsibilities
  • Provide daily supervision and leadership to assigned non-licensed associates and other designated personnel in meeting the residents' needs.
  • Monitor the condition of residents in AL and demonstrate good decision-making skills.
  • Make work assignments and meet with associates regularly to assist in identifying and correcting problem areas, and/or the improvement of care and services.
  • Provide resident care according to health care providers' orders and in accordance with regulatory requirements, recognized nursing practice, established standards, and Company policy.
  • Accurately administer prescribed medications, supervise the continuity of resident care, respond to changes in resident condition, medications, or other circumstances requiring special care needs, and perform first aid as required.
Qualifications
  • Must be a minimum of 18 years of age.
  • Licensed Practical Nurse in good standing with the state licensing agency, as required by state regulations.
  • CPR/AED certified.
  • Must have at least one (1) year of experience working as an LPN in a senior care setting.
  • Must have a positive Criminal Background Screening.
