Nurse Practitioner

We are seeking a highly skilled Nurse Practitioner to join our team at Albany Medical Center. As a Pain Management Specialist, you will be responsible for the daily management of an inpatient acute pain service at a Level 1 Trauma Center.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform inpatient consultations and coordinate between interdisciplinary services and providers.
- Develop and implement customized individual analgesic regimens for complex patients with multiple co-morbidities.
- Utilize multimodal analgesics, regional anesthesia, Ketamine and Lidocaine infusions, and implantable pain control devices.
- Conduct patient assessments and complete physical examinations, collect clinical data, and order and interpret medical laboratory test results.
- Administer medications or treatments and perform minor surgery as needed.
- Master's Degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
- Licensed as a Nurse Practitioner upon hire.
- ACLS, BCLS, and HIPAA compliance required.
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written skills.
This role requires standing, walking, and sitting for extended periods. Lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling are also required. The ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively is essential.
