Guthrie is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team as a Patient Care Specialist. In this role, you will provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in an acute care environment, working collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care to achieve optimal outcomes and transitions across the continuum.
- Develop and update patient care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team, prioritizing patient needs and preferences.
- Monitor and record patient condition, communicating effectively with the healthcare team to ensure seamless care transitions.
- Participate in ongoing professional development, staying current with evidence-based practice and adhering to regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with colleagues to promote a culture of safety, quality, and patient-centered care.
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of employment.
- At least one year of experience in acute care nursing, or completion of the Newly Licensed Registered Nurse Residency (NLRN) Program.
- BSN in Nursing preferred, with a commitment to ongoing education and professional development.
- Specialty certification and BLS certification required, with ACLS certification dependent on unit needs.
