Job Overview

This part-time position involves conducting training sessions for Adult CPR/AED/First Aid certifications. As an Emergency Response Training Specialist, you will be responsible for delivering engaging instruction using a combination of lectures, demonstrations, and hands-on exercises.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct monthly face-to-face training sessions for up to 10 students per class.
  • Prepare and organize training materials, including mannequins, trainer AED equipment, and first aid supplies.
  • Deliver high-quality instruction using audiovisual aids and technology to enhance learning experiences.
  • Provide course completion certificates and wallet cards to each attendee upon successful completion of the course.

Requirements

  • Certified to teach Basic Life Support (BLS), Adult CPR/AED, and First Aid.
  • Proven experience in conducting CPR/AED and First Aid training sessions, preferably in a professional or federal setting.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to engage a diverse audience effectively.
  • Ability to provide all necessary training materials and equipment, including audiovisual equipment for video demonstrations.

Compensation and Benefits

The estimated salary for this position is $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience. This is a part-time position with a schedule that includes conducting 3 classes per year from 08:00 - 12:00.
