We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Dietitian Nutritionist to join our team at Wheeler Clinic. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide comprehensive nutrition assessment, intervention, and education to patients of all ages, ensuring their dietary needs align with their health status and promote optimal physical health and well-being.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct thorough nutritional assessments and develop personalized plans to address specific health risks or conditions.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary care teams to provide culturally competent education and counseling to patients and their families.
- Develop and implement specialized evidence-based curriculums on nutrition for toddlers, diabetes, and other health conditions.
- Screen for food insecurity and link families with nutritional resources in the community.
- Coordinate special projects to address food insecurity within our population served.
- Provide occasional community presentations on nutrition and diet as it relates to specific health conditions.
- Must have a bachelor's degree and coursework accredited or approved by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics.
- Diabetes or pediatric certification preferred but not required.
- Four years of related work experience preferred.
- Bilingual Spanish speaking preferred.
