The Registered Nurse (RN) is a vital member of our healthcare team at Tidelands Health, responsible for delivering high-quality patient care and promoting a positive patient experience. As a Registered Nurse, you will work collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to patients, families, and communities.
Key Responsibilities- Manage individualized patient care plans, promoting and restoring patients' health through the nursing process.
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary team members to ensure seamless care delivery.
- Provide physical and psychological support to patients, families, and friends.
- Supervise assigned team members and ensure they are equipped to provide high-quality care.
- Circulate with c-sections, recover patients post c-section, and pre-op patients.
- Minimum two (2) years of acute nursing experience.
- Associates Degree in Nursing (ADN) required, with a degree received from an education institution accredited by National League of Nursing Accrediting Commission (NLNAC) or Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE).
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) preferred.
- Current and in good standing RN Licensure with South Carolina Board of Nursing.
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification required, with certification obtained within 30 days of employment.
- American Heart Association Healthcare provider course with Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required, with initial completion within 30 calendar days of hire date.
- ACLS preferred.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand, sit, and walk; occasionally to use hands, fingers; and frequently to talk or hear. The employee must exert 20 to 35 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 15 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
