Radiology Technologist PRN

We are seeking a skilled Radiology Tech PRN to join our team at StoneSprings Hospital Center. As a Radiologic Technologist, you will be responsible for performing radiographic procedures using fixed and portable units in the imaging department, nursing units, and operating suites.
Responsibilities- Perform all radiologic and fluoroscopic procedures following departmental protocols.
- Communicate with patients to ensure their understanding of the procedure and answer any questions they may have.
- Maintain patient rights and privacy at all times.
- Report any significant problems related to patients, physicians, x-ray procedures, housekeeping, maintenance, supplies, or personnel to the Technical Director and/or immediate supervisor.
- Ensure proper documentation and maintenance of all required department records.
- Graduate of a program in radiologic technology approved by the Council on Medical Education of the American Medical Association or documented equivalent education.
- Current certification by the American Registry of Radiology: Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) as an RT(R) or eligible for registry.
- BLS certification through American Red Cross (AHA and military certifications accepted) required upon hire.
- Ability to perform radiographic/fluoroscopic procedures following accepted standards and departmental protocols.
