Sales Associate Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Sales Associate to join our team at Schewel Furniture Company, Inc. As a Sales Associate, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, driving sales revenue, and ensuring the overall satisfaction of our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Customer Service: Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner, assist with product selection, and provide detailed product knowledge.
  • Sales Generation: Actively engage customers to drive sales and meet monthly sales targets, recommend additional products or services to enhance the customer's shopping experience.
  • Product Knowledge: Stay informed about product features, pricing, and promotions, attend training sessions to enhance product knowledge and sales techniques.
  • Merchandising: Ensure the showroom is clean, organized, and visually appealing at all times, assist with merchandising efforts, including organizing the floor and arranging displays as necessary.
  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and provide excellent customer service, communicate effectively with coworkers and management to ensure a positive work environment.
Requirements:
  • Previous Retail Sales Experience: Preferred but not required.
  • Strong Customer Service Skills: Ability to build rapport with customers, provide excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to Work in a Fast-Paced Environment: Handle multiple tasks simultaneously, work effectively in a team environment.
  • Basic Computer Skills: Access product information, perform additional duties as assigned by the Store Manager.
