A Dialysis Registered Nurse plays a crucial role in delivering specialized nursing care within one of our in-center hemodialysis facilities as part of a collaborative patient care team. Our RNs are vital in ensuring safe practices and prioritizing the highest quality outcomes for every patient.


Work Schedule:

This is a full-time position, requiring 4 days of work per week, with Sundays off and no overnight shifts.


Compensation:

Salary is based on nursing and dialysis experience, with a paid 12-week training program alongside a preceptor.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare dialysis machines, ensuring alarms and treatment supplies meet quality standards
  • Administer hemodialysis treatments in accordance with facility protocols
  • Provide ongoing patient education, training, and health coaching
  • Monitor patients during dialysis, assessing and communicating any changes to physicians and families
  • Adhere to CDC/CMS infection control regulations
  • Participate in patient care conferences, rounds, and chart reviews
  • Document required patient education efforts
  • Facilitate continuity of care with local healthcare facilities
  • Lead a small patient care team
  • Assist in onboarding new staff members as needed
  • Collaborate effectively with care teams

Education and Training:
  • Accredited nursing degree is required
  • Dialysis experience is not mandatory
  • DCI offers a comprehensive 3-month training program, including classroom sessions and one-on-one skills training
  • New graduates are encouraged to apply
