A Dialysis Registered Nurse plays a crucial role in delivering specialized nursing care within one of our in-center hemodialysis facilities as part of a collaborative patient care team. Our RNs are vital in ensuring safe practices and prioritizing the highest quality outcomes for every patient.
Work Schedule:
This is a full-time position, requiring 4 days of work per week, with Sundays off and no overnight shifts.
Compensation:
Salary is based on nursing and dialysis experience, with a paid 12-week training program alongside a preceptor.

Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare dialysis machines, ensuring alarms and treatment supplies meet quality standards
- Administer hemodialysis treatments in accordance with facility protocols
- Provide ongoing patient education, training, and health coaching
- Monitor patients during dialysis, assessing and communicating any changes to physicians and families
- Adhere to CDC/CMS infection control regulations
- Participate in patient care conferences, rounds, and chart reviews
- Document required patient education efforts
- Facilitate continuity of care with local healthcare facilities
- Lead a small patient care team
- Assist in onboarding new staff members as needed
- Collaborate effectively with care teams
Education and Training:
- Accredited nursing degree is required
- Dialysis experience is not mandatory
- DCI offers a comprehensive 3-month training program, including classroom sessions and one-on-one skills training
- New graduates are encouraged to apply
