Key Responsibilities
  • Operate the CT imaging equipment, ensuring safe transportation of patients to and from the imaging area, and manage scheduling for both inpatients and outpatients.
  • Communicate exam results to the attending physician and initiate IV lines for contrast administration as required.
  • Exhibit expertise in contrast media administration and monitor for any adverse reactions. Proficiency in utilizing the PACS imaging system is essential.
  • Engage in quality improvement initiatives to enhance departmental performance.
  • Assist with various operational tasks to ensure smooth daily functioning of the imaging department.

Qualifications

Essential Requirements:

  • Completion of Vocational or Technical Education in a relevant field.
  • Registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (A.R.R.T.) or eligibility for registration.
    • If eligible upon hiring, registration must be achieved within one year of employment and maintained throughout employment.
  • Current BLS Certification.
  • Prior experience in a similar role.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Advanced certification in CT imaging.
