Hillcrest Medical Center is a comprehensive 656-bed facility that includes specialized centers such as The Alexander Burn Center and The Peggy V. Helmerich Women's Health Center. Responsibilities
Commit to a 12-week assignment with a minimum of 36 hours per week or 72 hours per pay period. You will be responsible for patient care activities that require a fundamental understanding of sterile techniques, sterilization protocols, surgical procedures, anatomy and physiology, as well as the use and maintenance of surgical instruments and equipment. Additionally, you will assist the Registered Nurse CV Coordinator with CV-specific processes as needed.
Follow Universal Precaution Guidelines, including but not limited to time-out and safety measures. Ensure effective turnover for cardiovascular surgeries and maintain cleanliness in the CV operating rooms, including inventory management.
Qualifications
Job Requirements:
- Current and unrestricted Certified Surgical Technologist certification from the NBSTSA.
- Active BLS certification.
- One year of recent hospital CVOR experience (within the last 2 years).
